Hi, welcome to Las Tortugas Deli Mexicana. Our Restaurant was opened in 2003 by my father Jose "Pepe" Magallanes, a native of Mexico City. After years of retirement, Pepe decided to open Las Tortugas as a hobby, with the emphasis being classic fresh Mexican cuisine with no exceptions.

In keeping with this spirit our restaurant receives no deliveries of food through food service companies. Instead we shop fresh personally every single day before the restaurant opens. We have our own baker who prepares fresh bread, tamales, chips and homemade flan from scratch every day. We hand select and hand harvest fruits and vegetables for the deli every day. We Filet all of our meats and fish by hand.

We are in partnership with a variety of local organic farms to source our food including Newman Farms, Neola Farms, Evergreen Farms, Woodson Ridge, Green Urban Growers, Paradise Seafood. In short, we are Fresh Obsessed and our menu features the light, colorful, fresh, healthy food that mexicans eat every day, including Homemade, Tortas, Tacos, Tamales, Tostadas, Ceviche, Aguas Frescas, Guacamole, Sopas and desserts.
